President & Founder

    Kai Davis is the President and Founder of Pathway Forward. Mrs. Davis received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. She received her Master of Education from Concordia University with concentrations in Common Core Standards & English Language Learning. Mrs. Davis will be graduating with a Doctorate in Education in Leadership from Concordia University in 2020. Throughout her career in teaching, she has made positive contributions and affected change in the lives of many young people. She is driven to accomplish more on a larger scale, so the community will be positively impacted.

Kimani H. Davis, BA, M.Div.

Vice President

Mr. Davis has professional industry experience in event planning, church administration and teaching experience. He has assisted churches, community development corporations, governmental agencies and scholarship foundations with event management, strategic and organizational planning.  Most recently he served as President of the Association of Black Seminarians at New Brunswick Theological Seminary, a former Board Commissioner with the New Jersey Department of State Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission. He previously served as a Resident Chaplain at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. 

Julie Husbands

Julie is the Founder & CEO of Kingdom Citizens Network, LLC, based in Philadelphia, PA. Its services offer Administration, which includes Special Event Planning, virtual office assistance, Booking & Scheduling Agent Services, just to name a few. Julie is also a Pusher, Encourager and one who partners with solopreneurs and entrepreneurs alike, to grow their personal and professional brands, human-to-human.  After spending more than two decades working in Business Administration and Customer Service with many Companies, several Ministries, (Stand Alone & Itinerant) as well as individuals, Julie has deduced that it is how well you connect with and how you communicate your understanding back to the clients you assist that really matters, not just the business’ bottom line.

Dr. Yvonne Best - Motaung, Ed.D.

Board Advisor

Dr. Yvonne  Motaung assisted the chief executive officer in the administration and execution of the Lott Carey Convention mission thrust throughout the world. In addition to being one of the principal spokespersons for the Lott Carey International work she provided staff leadership for the women’s unit and laymen’s unit of the organization as they support the global mission thrust, identify specific projects to adopt and support, execute short-term service tours, and provide new supporters with global mission opportunities.  Further she was the Director of the educational programs, seminars and workshops designed to inform and inspire increased investment in global missions.

Dr. Motaung was born in New Jersey, USA and earned the Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Seton Hall University NJ.  She earned the Master of Divinity Degree from Princeton Theological Seminary (NJ) where she was a Snyder Foundation Scholar. Dr. Motaung received the Doctor of Ministry Degree from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary (PA).
